Alannis Greyjoy by henning Alannis Greyjoy by henning
:icondonotplz::iconusemyartplz:

This is an illustration for Fantasy Flight Games collectible card game named A Game of Thrones, which is based on the world of best-selling author George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice & Fire.

The character is Alannis Greyjoy, the wife of Balon Greyjoy, and the mother of Theon and Asha. I’m guessing that can’t be easy? :-)

Illustrations for card games like this always have short deadlines, and are supposed to be viewed on a smaller scale than here.

Hi, it depends a bit if it's a well known IP or not, and the level of details required. Feel free to send me a pm with specs, and I'll give you an estimate. I'm currently fully booked, though. :-)

I was just wondering, I hope one of my projects will soon be ready for an artist. ( like the random 300 things I fool around with and never get into the air)

Har sendt inn en liten portfolio til dem, så vi får se hva som skjer. Trenger nok noen år til på baken ;-)

It's so strange to see Kyena in an "older version" ;)
I am 99% sure you took her as a reference here too.. :D I can see it in her eyes..
Amazing amount of details..
I love the texture on the background.. it rocks!

I love A Game of Thrones! I've read them three times and just can't get enough! House of Targaryen (sp?) is my favorite, and I love Jon Snow. You do an excellent interpretation of them. Keep it up!

That's fantastic! I often chose to play the village 'old woman' or someone's mother (in RPG) just for a change of pace. ^_^

I like how the strong highlight really glows, on her collar and right cheek....was a lightbulb moment for me, actually! I went "Ohhhhh....neat trick!" Which expansion is this for? A Song of Night?

Henning, I clicked the devwatch link knowing I'd see something great, but I still involuntarily found myself going "whoaaaa" when I saw it. Amazing detail in this!! I like the unusual subject too; you don't see many aging women in fantasy art. Really nice :D

Are you sure this isn't a photo :P Hahahahah i just see the technique perfect, I am painting a princess at the moment, I would like you to comment it, you can find it in my scraps section, but just if you feel like it. If you do, I hope you like it. Well, see you later, I'll take a look at your other deviations. Bye! :)
