If you don't mind me asking, what parts of the art have you worked on for Darkfall? At the very least, conceptual art, I surmise.
Another question- how did you get involved in the DF project? I assume it was when they expanded the game and went back through heavy development in '04, but even at that point they were still a very small team?
That's amazing! Were you involved with the decision to cell shade characters at long distances?
Was the cell shading done for asthetics reasons or does it actually consume less processing power? I would assume it is the former, because it seems like the processor would have to render the model in order to extract an accurate 2D representation from it?
It adds an interesting visual effect, though I assume it was intended to be viewed with max anti-aliasing? Doesn't appear to be in the current beta-build.
