Deathpig - Darkfall by henning Deathpig - Darkfall by henning
:icondonotplz::iconusemyartplz:

Going to add more Darkfall related stuff from now on, rendered in decent representable quality.

One of many mounts available in our mmorpg, Darkfall.
This is the Deathpig, and belongs to the Ork race. Only the Orks can craft these mounts, but any race can use them.

Made using 3D Studio Max, and Photoshop CS4. Sculpted in Zbrush and rendered in Max. Same texture as in-game model, and old mesh just with sculpting added for more definition and details.

You'll have to arm your mages with urns of strong, black coffee.

It's awesome. Now if only DA would bring back the good old full view button instead of this downloading crap. >>

The full view is still there -- just click on the images.

It is. But when the images are too big, they will not open in their "real" full view. Just a full view optimized for my screen.

Ah right. It's scaling to fit the screens. Bleeeh, oh well. Lots of weird things going on with the interface around here nowadays. Hope they will leave it like this for a while to give us a chance to get used to it before any new changes, haha. :-)

I was hoping they would give us the option to switch back... |D

I like the fact that I used both a 1600x1200 desktop and a 1024x600 (or something like that) netbook today and it works on both. I can still right-click/view-image to see the unscaled version.
All in all, it's the cleanest and smoothest upgrade I've seen in my five years on dA.

Better not, they can also attack other players and monsters. Handy having those tusks, then :-)

why'd you switch apps to render?

I prefer Max for rendering, and it was also part of some experimentation on export/imports between the programs :-)
