Thanks! Have never played it myself, but I've been close to buying the main game a couple of times, hehe.

It's fun... and VERY VERY long... I've still never seen the end of a dungeon, even after a 5-hour long game. (that's with a full crew of players, of course)

I agree, the game is very long. i'm surprised, wataru2001, that you've not seen the end of a dungeon. my friends and i have been playing for a year and getting ready to start the WoD Expansion.

How many players do you usually game with? I've done either a full game (all four human heroes and the DM) and a 3 player game (2 heros and a DM). For full games, we never finish... :( Maybe my gamers are just too "tactical." They try to cover every corner and discuss every move for several minutes before actually acting. (It's like watching DnD swat teams) But the 3 player games we did... well, those only lasted about 45 minutes because our 2 heroes got slaughtered in the first room.

Maybe I'll take a bit and re-read the rules. Make sure we're doing this right... :)

I'm sure you're doing it right. The game is way less complicated than D&D.
We usually play with 3-5 players, depending if everyone shows up. Most of our games will last 3-5 hours. However, we just played the first quest to AoD expansion. It lasted 8 hours and the heros lost. That was with 3 people, but i made the 2 hero players play with 4 heros between them. They overthought the quest and took way to long on their moves. As DM, i made quite few mistakes too. I kept forgetting about my Hordes of things and I let and Undying Ogre go without rolling the power die. We were all just too exhausted. Maybe the next time we play, we'll get it right. Feel free to shoot me a message if want, instead of tieing up this guy's comment wall. I love talking about the game.

I'm sure Henning enjoys reading about people enjoying the fruits of his labor. :) The game does rock -- regardless of whether we're doing it right or it takes 10 hours. :)
