Dungeonquest board by henning Dungeonquest board by henning
A bunch of tiles made for Dungeonquest, another great board game from Fantasy Flight Games. Gotta love dungeon explorations!

More info about Dungeonquest on FFG's site: [link]

Made using Photoshop CS4, and a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet.

Hello!

I'm a big fan of your artwork, and i love the level of detail on these tiles!

We play this game with friends every week for about a year, and our record is about 8400 gold.

But there is one small issue which i was thinking a lot about.

The spider web tile, if you read the rules, is more like a corridor, than a room. Is it possible that you have the source art still and are able to make a straight and a crossed corridor with the spider web easily?

We will be very grateful, and i promise you will be able to see the photo report of this game! Thank you for the art, never the less. The chests and stone floors are amazing!

Hello :)
Haven't been around to actually play this game yet myself, but glad to hear that you like it.

I wish I could have helped you out but I can't send out and source files or altered images without messing with my contract with my client.

All the best,
-Henning

I have played it. Didn't know that you were the one who did the artwork for it. That is pretty awesome. The game is pretty hard and you die a lot but it is a fun game.

It takes a bit of a learning curve, especially the combat system but it is really not that hard. I would suggest using characters that have abilities against monsters or getting past traps.

I just threw this game out (+ Talisman) with a whole lot of expansion sets to the bin, 2 week ago. I was clearing my house of old worthless crap from my youth and found this. It takes you back though. Happy days. :D

Great job, Hennig! I love how at first sight they seem simple, but the perspective and depth are impressive!

I see many spots one can fall through. Ah, the joys of dungeons. =p

Wish I had something like that in the days I was playing Nethack!

Interesting handling. Looks like it would be tough to integrate some of that one point perspective in to the tiles individually and still have them work together, but based on that treasure room on the bottom left it seems to work pretty well. Very cool stuff! Love the variety in the tiles, and they have a really classic feeling about them. Great work! :)

Yeah, it's a challenge to make these perspectives work together, the treasure room was the most challenging one, but I figured that the simplest solution was probably the best.

A mighty collection of catastrophes.

(Given the appearance of the thumbnail, I suppose it is not too surprising that I first misread the title as "Dungboard".) :D
