Euron Crow's eye by henning Euron Crow's eye by henning
:icondonotplz::iconusemyartplz:

This is an illustration for Fantasy Flight Games collectible card game named A Game of Thrones, which is based on the world of best-selling author George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice & Fire. This belongs to the Five Kings Edition.

The character is Euron Crow’s Eye.

I got this description from :iconwinteriscoming-fans: who helped me with some of the descriptions of the characters. I just love this character, hehe:

“He’s left his family after having a relation with his brother Victarion’s wife. Since that time he spent his life sailing the seas as one of the most dangerous pirates of all times. His ship is called “Silence” since all the members of the crew are mute or had their tongues cut off. The wood of the whole ship has a reddish color, due to the tons of blood poored on its decks during the boardings and the cruel raids that Euron and his crew did during the years.
He’s the terror of all the sea villages. His only interest toward his family is ascending to the Sea Throne, owned by his father Balon.”

Illustrations for card games like this always have short deadlines, and are supposed to be viewed on a smaller scale than here.

Euron here reminds me Mads Mikkelsen a little. Other than that, great work :)

Actually, Balon was his older brother.

Shouldn't he have blue lips though?

To be honest, not my favorite of yours !

Technically, amazing, but I think you made his face to fat, I picture Euron as much thiner and athletic.
And kinda always smiling, with a vicious smile, so I'm not in with the grudgy expression...

Wait, did you do these? They are just stuff you took from the cards right?

Hm? Not quite sure what you're asking. I made these for Fantasy Flight Games and their A Game of Thrones card game, yeah.

Ya, that's what I was asking. I didn't know if you were the one who made them or if you just posted them. Well I know you were rushed, but if you don't mind I was gonna go through the innacuracies of them. *shrug*

technically a pretty cool painting.

i have always visualized this character as more rough, viking-ish (like the Greyjoy are), though: this man here's too smooth / renaissance imo. (and there's a bit too much metal on him for a pirate, yes. okay, i see he's not aboard a ship now, but to represent his character maybe that would've served a scene to capture him in.)

Cool picture, but I think he's wearing a bit too much armor for a pirate. We wouldn't want him to sink like a stone.

Wicked! Awesome detail with his clothes and armour!!! Even the armour looks like it's had a life at sea.

You know, I'm tempted to buy these Game of Thrones cards just to get the art on them....lol
