I made this a long time ago (way over a year ago), but the product wasn't launched until recently, and now I am officially allowed to show it. This is for the new miniature game from Fantasy Flight Games based on the Mutant Chronicles setting, and I love this setting and had a great time creating these two battle maps.

The box of the game looks great, with beautifully hand painted miniatures. If you're curious, you can check it out on their site: [link]

Made using Photoshop, and some low-poly non-textured rendered 3D objects I made quickly using 3D Studio Max.

See map #2 here: [link]

Fantastic detailing as always Henning. I marvel at your ability to coordinate all this stuff in one piece as I can't begin to imagine the number of layers and layer types used in these types of things.

Hi, it reminds me Alien Breed, Chaos Engine and Full Metal Planet (for the map) from our fantastic Amiga. It was your inspiration ? This game is creating for wich platform ?
It's a great job, congrats ! I want to see more...

Thanks a lot. I still have my Amiga, but I didn't really have any of those games in mind when creating this. It's for a board game (table top), so it's old-school :-)

That is awesome. I am really impressed on the storytelling going on the map. I mean... it is just a map, but there is such a lot of information!

All the little touches add up to one very impressive piece of work.

Nice job Henning... I love how you do these, the amount of detail you get into them and the angle that must make it hard to get such depth. I always love looking at these things by you. Great stuff :)
