Haha, kind of a creepy concept. as someone else already mentioned before....skulls with hair, wtf? It's interesting though, and I quite like wings with those wolf heads... However, if I may critique, I find the pose a little strange...the torso seem a little seperated from the legs, probably from how they rotate. I guess the figure just seems kind of stiff to me, as do some of the limbs. And I find that the shading on the right arm and parts of the legs looks too flat and straight. It might be just me, but that's my impression at least. But don't get me wrong, hehe, I still find that the piece is pretty cool, but I do think that you could make it feel a little more alive
The detailing on that dress is stunning, Henning. The image as a whole weirds me out a little, skulls with hair generally do! But it's a top notch illustration! How do these translate when they're printed on fabric, do they generally capture all the detail we see here, or is some of it lost?
Thanks Sam, hehe. It's a weird subject indeed. Well, when printing of fabrics, they're using very low dpi for obvious reasons. Quite a bit is lost in that transaction unfortunately. It might be available as a bed sheet as well if you're really into skulls with pretty hairdos (where the details would be more visible, of course) :-D
