Artist's Comments  T-shirt illustration done for Spiral Direct. Great fun to do! The background is black because the illustration are to be used on black clothing only, and it is 2-colour prints, which means white and red colour only on black background. Art directed by their lead artist, which was a nice experience  Reference used for the pose. Painted using Photoshop CS2 with a Wacom Intuos tablet, as usual. Copyright Spiral Direct, of course! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. You can think of anything you want, just make sure you still respect the theme. You can choose to illustrate dreams, nightmares or even both of them. Anything you want!
