Board made for an expansion for Tannhaüser board game from Fantasy Flight Games. This board is available as a highres download from their site as well, and you can submit your own patching if you're interested: [link]

Made using 3D Studio Max, Photoshop CS2, and a Wacom intuos 2 tablet.

Never played the game, but the board looks a little hard to navigate. Did they include "spaces" in the final version or anything?
The art looks fantastic though. Extremely thematic and atmospheric!

Yes, they have added graphics on top of the board with areas :)
I have the base game, and it does look like a complicated game. Haven't tried it myself yet.

Another brilliant map :) i'm really going to have to try using max as a base for one of my paintings soon, perhaps when i get a bit better a modeling

oh and like always your painting skills never cease to amaze ^_^
